Wendy is passionate about the guest experience in the context of wellness, travel, design, and the built environment. For over two decades, Wendy has worked in spa and wellness in the hospitality and real estate industries bringing the wellness lifestyle to the residential market, changing the way people play and live.

She has collaborated with asset managers, developers, owners, and operators in the hospitality and real estate  space to optimize each stakeholder’s project. Her areas of expertise include feasibility studies,  concept development, marketing, staffing, training, pre-opening, programming, and operations.

She has a keen understanding of ROI and is bottom-line oriented.

Her passion is helping people create meaningful guest experiences in memorable places.

Sallie Fraenkel

Co-Chief Collaborator

Sallie Fraenkel is the founder of Mind Body Spirit Network which offers consulting services to wellness-oriented businesses and networking events for wellness-oriented individuals.  Sallie’s passion for wellness travel and tourism has led her to destination spas and resorts around the world where she has created numerous trips, tours and bespoke experiences for wellness industry-insiders and travelers. Between 2004 to 2014, Fraenkel served as CMO & COO of SpaFinder and EVP for the Global Wellness Summit. Her first career was in the entertainment industry where she ran the home entertainment division for Showtime. As a leader in the industry, Fraenkel serves on several boards including the Transformational Travel Council, GSN Planet, NYSPA, One Well World, Well Defined and Vacayou. Fraenkel draws upon the expertise of many professionals with whom she has collaborated during her career. She values creativity, ingenuity, authenticity, integrity, and connection in her work and that of others.

Maureen Fletcher Bankson

Co-Chief Collaborator

Maureen brings over 30 years of expertise to the Spa + Wellness industry with extensive finance, management, retail, spa operation, and business development.

Maureen has consulted and worked with many prestigious properties focused mainly on turnkey development and creating unique guest experiences and branded touchpoints for each location. Her vast experience in designing, developing, and operating a diverse portfolio of properties has garnered her a renowned reputation in the hospitality industry.  From project conception and planning to implementation and management of a brand, Maureen ensures positive outcomes for her clients in a competitive industry.  She has a passion for growing teams and is very focused on mentoring and educating those who work with her.

For 12 years, Maureen served as a Corporate Director for Glen Ivy Hot Springs, Corona, CA.

She is a past member of the International Spa Association (ISPA) and a past Medical Spa Association (MSS) member. Maureen makes her home in Boston, MA. and Paradise Valley, Arizona.

Deborah Kurtzman

Associate Collaborator | Architect + Design Professional

Deborah has a background in design, development and construction management. She has a keen focus on integrating proven amenity program successes with cutting edge fitness, wellness and social components to enrich the lifestyle of residents and the value of the properties in which they live. Deborah earned her Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University.

Susan McIver

Associate Collaborator | Hospitality Finance Professional

Susan’s background includes over 20 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis for luxury hotel spas, day spa resorts, and day spas. Susan’s expertise in the Spa Industry has allowed her to present budgeting and financial analysis workshops at spa industry conferences. She also has experience with Financial Planning and Analysis for Hospitality related industries such as Food & Beverage (Catering, Restaurants, Pubs, and Snack Bars), Golf, Events, Country Clubs, Swim Clubs, and also Retail.

In addition, Susan has worked in the real estate development, construction, leisure furniture, and financial services industries. Her most recent consulting project is in the healthcare industry providing support to the CFO and Controller of a large Medi-Spa organization during a financial audit and merger transaction.

Susan is a California native and resides in Southern California, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton.

Maggy is a passionate, results-oriented Spa and Wellness Executive highly regarded for over 25+ years of progressive success developing and operating world-class wellness concepts & brands.

While leading teams with Hyatt and Destination Hotels as Director of Spa & Wellness, to founding her own company and collaborating with BluSpas Consulting and as Senior Director of Spa and Wellness for CoralTree Hospitality, Maggy has a proven track-record of analyzing market trends, developing short & long-term strategies and implementing successful programming.  

Cultivating spaces for people to thrive, to grow and be better has become a focus and the purpose behind the work that she does.

Ashley Hall

Ashley Hall began her career in Southern California at Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Corona, CA, where she spent ten years in such roles as Spa Host and Trainer, Spa Coordinator, and Marketing Content Coordinator. Overall, Ashley has 18 years of experience in the industry, with her focus on pre-opening support and operational management. She has held high-level management positions in California and Nevada as Director of Spa. She possesses a keen attention to detail and a vast understanding of the industry. 

Doris Lopez

I bring a combination of management experience and operational expertise as an executive leader in health care. My experience spans over 20 years, in both for profit and non-for-profit, hospital and ambulatory care services. I am a patient advocate and consider this role the most important achievement in my career.
 As an experienced Healthcare Executive, I am acutely aware of the competition in healthcare services. Strategic management is vital to success, in improving the patient experience. Aligning that with community awareness drives revenue growth and patient volumes. I have affected transformation in private, public and non-profit healthcare facilities producing revitalized brands, patient-centric care, strong community partnerships and increased funding.  As a champion of enhancing the patient experience, I was able to increase overall satisfaction rates at both institutions.  I occupied the role as Administrator of Emergency Medicine for Long Island College hospital (LICH)for over 4 years.  LICH served a large population of Brooklyn, with over 90,000 visits per year. 
Skilled in management and administration, I have managed multi-million-dollar budgets, directed multiple departments and driven revenue generation. My management skill is complemented by my commitment and ability to train, coach and mentor medical professionals of all levels, from the C-suite to new hires. Driving culture change is a combination of education, communication and management commitment. I develop programs and initiatives to modify behavior while increasing professionalism and process improvement.
Finally, my passion for health and wellness inspired me to become a certified Health and Lifestyle coach. In my role as VP of Health and Healing at Canyon Ranch and The Well of NYC, I learned to look at health through the lens of various modalities including Integrative Medicine.   I developed a keen interest in the mind, body and spiritual connection. Through my transformative life coaching I have found my own life purpose through service to others by meeting my clients right where they are in their process, gently urging them to move closer to who they were always meant to be.

I completed an M.A. in Community Health Management and a B.S in Health Administration.  My skills include strategic planning, community outreach, business development, health and wellness consulting and life coaching.

Serving as the visual voice of the spa and wellness industries, Paulina Tracz-Dulog is a results-driven designer and art director passionate about helping people and business thrive. Specializing in clean, simple and elegant designs, she works to evoke a sense of emotion while telling a brand story. She cares deeply about promoting wellness for the common good of our world and contributes her energy to global projects spanning across continents through her design Studio SimplePea. She is proud to support the Being Well Collective through web design, photography and marketing strategy.
